Thank you for making our Coffee Morning a success

On 23 October, our community came together for a special Coffee Morning in support of people affected by cancer in the UK and Ukraine.

Hosted by Moseley Community Trust at Moseley Hive, the event brought together neighbours, friends, volunteers, supporters and local organisations to share coffee, cake and conversation, while raising awareness and funds for Mission Kharkiv and Macmillan Cancer Support.

It also gave us an opportunity to honour the memory of our dear colleague and friend, Nataliia Dmitriieva, who sadly lost her battle with breast cancer earlier this year.

Thanks to everyone involved, we raised £300 to support people affected by cancer and their families.

The funds raised will help Macmillan Cancer Support continue providing practical, emotional and financial support to people living with cancer across the UK. Donations will also help Mission Kharkiv provide medicines, transportation, humanitarian assistance and cancer support services to patients in Ukraine.

Every cup of coffee, every slice of cake and every donation made a difference.

Together, we demonstrated the power of community, compassion and kindness in supporting people through some of life's most difficult challenges.

Because nobody should face cancer alone.
