Public spaces.

1. Moseley Hive space.

Moseley Hive is a meeting place for Ukrainians within the framework of the Moseley for Ukraine Project. We post the schedule of meetings and classes every week on our social media pages.
But, Moseley Hive is also a public space for meetings and leisure activities of residents of the Moseley area and not only. Every day Moseley Hive hosts interesting and useful events that you can also attend. Classes are held both free of charge and on a paid basis. See the terms of participation in each project/meeting separately.


Events/classes in Moseley Hive that may be of interest to you:

  • Craft meetings in preparation for the Moseley Community Festival – every Thursday from 15.00 to 17.00. No pre-registration is required.

  • Pilates classes - every Monday from 19.30 to 20.20. Registration https://www.graftpilates.co.uk/

  • Hula Hoop Classes - a dynamic class of Hoop Classes. There are classes for both young people and the elderly. Classes are held by donation, every Tuesday from 18.05 to 18.55. registration of participation in the class at: Sam@spacecrafted.co.uk, Instagram project page @hooponauts.

  • Break Dancing - a free class for teenagers and adults with different levels of training. Every Tuesday from 19.30 to 21.30. Pre-registration is not required.

  • Repair Cafe - repair of equipment and items for their safety and reuse. Meetings are held every 3rd Saturday of the month.

  • Moseley Community Fridge - a project aimed at preserving food from recycling. Major supermarkets in the city give food products with an expiration date coming to an end to Moseley Hive for free distribution to residents of the community. Food distribution takes place every Thursday from 11.30 to 13.00.

  • Disco Diva - an hour of incendiary dances for older women. Every Friday from 12.30 to 13.30. a £3 donation is welcome.

  • Bike Kitchen - a bicycle repair project. If you have a bike that needs to be repaired, you can repair it as part of these meetings. A mechanic is always present at the meeting with a set of necessary tools that will help you repair your bike. The date of the next meeting will be announced on the @moseleyhive Instagram page.

  • Every Monday, from 19.15 to 20.45, rehearsals of the Moseley Rock Collective are held.

If you love music, sing, or play rock music on a musical instrument, join the Moseley Rock Collective.

  • Every fourth Wednesday of the month, Birmingham International Speakers Club (BISC) meetings are held from 19.30.

  • Every second and fourth Thursday of the month, Birmingham Humanists meetings are held from 18.00 to 19.00.

On July 20 and 21, from 11.00 to 17.00, the Moseley Exchange will host the Summer Arts Fair “Once in a Blue Moon”, which will feature works by various artists, ceramists, jewelers, and knitters. Admission to the Fair is free. More details www.jenkoandco.uk
